AN ANALYSIS OF THE ELECTRIC POWER PUBLIC SALE PROFILE DONE IN REGULATED HIRING ENVIRONMENT FROM 2005 TO 2016

Resumo

The objective of this study was to conduct a descriptive analysis of the sale public profile in a regulated contracting environment of electric energy and then to evaluate how the variables related to the quantity of energy sold, the estimated investment amounts to be realized energy generation projects, the time interval between the year of the auction and the beginning of the energy supply, as well as the average contracted price per megawatt, could be correlated, between 2005 and 2016. Through the use of descriptive statistics and correlation analysis, it was possible to observe indications that, even when contracting high amounts in the long term, national electric-energy demand has oscillated upwards, demanding the contracting of additional electric energy in order to mitigate or hydrological bait of the national electric matrix. It was also identified indications that the previous planning about the future demand for electric energy, besides allowing to contract energy for an average price almost 37% smaller, could allow the realization of a considerably higher level of investment, and this, in turn, could be reflected in the economic activity of the country. The correlation analysis revealed that the variable "predicted investment" was the one that presented the most relevance, considering its statistical significance in relation to the other variables analyzed in this exploratory-descriptive study, based on real data and with the aid of quantitative methods applied.

Bacharel em Ciências Contábeis (1999). Professor efetivo (DE) da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia-UFU. Exprofessor dos cursos presenciais de Ciências Contábeis e Administração da Universidade de Uberaba-UNIUBE. Ex-professor e membro estruturante do curso de Ciências Contábeis à distância (EAD) da UNIUBE. Foi parecerista e roteirista de componentes curriculares para "Educação à Distãncia" da UNIUBE. Ex-professor da Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas do Triângulo Mineiro-FCETM e das Faculdades Associadas de Uberaba-FAZU. Tem experiência na área de Ciências Contábeis, com ênfase em Contabilidade, Normas e Práticas Contábeis, Finanças, Contabilidade Gerencial e de Custos.
